Job Overview
Reporting to the Director, Construction, as the Project Coordinator – Construction you will provide
administrative assistance throughout the construction process, and ensure the efficient flow of
documentation and information between systems and departments.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating the preparing of permits, construction documentation, budgets, and technical
plans to ensure compliance with project requirements and specifications. - Managing Request for Information (RFI) and Submittals. Determining project and trade scopes,
and preparing Pre-Construction schedules. - Liaising with related parties including site teams and external vendors, to provide information
and project timeline updates when necessary. - Monitoring day-to-day operations to ensure projects are carried out accordingly to standard
processes and procedures. - Developing and maintaining positive relationships with municipal staff and trades.
- Assisting in the coordination and preparation of project documents, tender invites, purchase
orders, site instructions, trade and supplier information and consulting or engineering
companies, and reviewing interior home selections, unit specifications and upgrade pricing.

Essential Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of multi-family homebuilding construction or project coordination experience.
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and
PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in NewStar would be considered a strong asset.
- Previous experience in high-rise building is preferred.

Work Conditions
You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Travel to job sites is required on a
frequent basis. Overtime may occasionally be required.
