DESCRIPTION

Role
This unionized position reporting to the Coordinator, Finance, processes revenue, cash/banking information, and accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions, administers customer account collections, reconciles accounts receivable and payable control accounts, generates payments to vendors and payees and provides administrative support to the Department.
Education and Experience
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A completed certificate in office administration, business administration, or accounting
and two (2) years of related experience.
Related experience may include working in a general bookkeeping or administrative role with experience in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable and/or experience working in a highly computerized environment and processing financial transactions using an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and/or accounting software.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Details
- Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Schedule is subject to change based on operational requirements.
- Hybrid (office/remote) work with one day per week in the library.
- Evening and weekend work may be required.
- An annual salary range of $57,527.00 to $60,558.00 and a comprehensive benefits package, including extended health and dental benefits, and a defined-benefit pension plan.
- The successful candidate is required to provide a satisfactory police information/background check.
