Portfolio Marketing at Uncommon Purpose is responsible for helping incubate, scale and exit a variety of SaaS products and solutions. Our portfolio spans industries, audiences, and solves for a variety of critical business challenges. 

As the Demand Generation Senior Manager at Uncommon Purpose, you are responsible for developing and executing on demand generation strategies for all companies in the product portfolio. The core focus for this role will be to build campaign plans, briefs and strategies with a focus on qualified lead generation among our target audiences. This role collaborates closely with GTM and product stakeholders to understand needs and develop insight-driven strategies for positioning and messaging. The Demand Generation Senior Manager provides in-depth reporting and analysis to inform and improve future campaigns. 

In your demand generation efforts, this role is also responsible for strengthening our partner channels to grow and deepen Uncommon Purpose’s coverage of the Salesforce ecosystem.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, working with a variety of stakeholders, projects and channels concurrently 
  • Ability to develop clear and concise marketing briefs based on business and campaign strategy
  • Strong understanding of lead generation campaign tactics in marketing communication, digital marketing and product marketing
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing technologies, including Pardot, Salesforce and other digital platforms
  • Ability to manage and measure campaign performance and members within Salesforce
  • Ability to engage others and exchange ideas
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline driven environment 
  • Proven track record of project management and strong attention to detail

What You Will Be Doing
Marketing Campaigns and Demand Generation

  • Architect, build and manage marketing programs to attract, retain and grow revenue through enablement, profitability, marketing, and service offerings
  • Collaborate with product teams on “product-led growth” initiatives in both B2B and B2C businesses
  • Work collaboratively with the key stakeholders in Marketing, GTM, Sales and Product to understand the business objectives and external drivers from partners and customers
  • Develop marketing objectives, target audiences and quantitative targets (leads, revenue, etc.) for each product and ensure marketing campaigns are designed to achieve goals
  • Engage, nurture and inform Uncommon Purpose’s partner network in demand generation campaigns and critical relationship building activities
  • Educate SFDC Alliance contacts regarding our unique partnership and value proposition to increase focus on product portfolio
  • Engage regularly with stakeholders to ensure campaign production is aligned with the messaging and objectives outlined in the brief/plan
  • Conduct market and customer research using feedback and learnings to ensure the marketing strategy and campaigns are customer-centric and effective
  • Leverage channels & tactics including email, webinars/events, sales outreach, content, digital ads, incentives, direct mail, and partners in campaigns
  • Drive alignment between sales and marketing through regular communication and collaboration with the sales team
  • Educate the organization on and initiate demand generation campaigns for early stage, incubated products – defining what they need from marketing and when

Marketing Operations

  • Manage and grow marketing technology stack to support and enhance demand generation efforts (specifically Salesforce, Pardot, ZoomInfo and future demand generation technologies)
  • Develop KPIs, testing and reporting to ensure campaign efforts are delivering optimal return on investment. Provide analysis of insights to make recommendations for next steps, efficiencies, improvements and new opportunities
  • Ensure the collection of insightful data that enables the organization to effectively communicate with customers and prospects, and develop more effective marketing campaigns
  • Manage all reporting and campaign management from Salesforce

Webinars and Events

  • Work closely with content marketing, product marketing, and product teams to design & execute topics for webinars and events (virtual and in-person)
  • Together with the product teams, identify the most effective marketing messages, value proposition, materials, channels, and calls to action for personas and key accounts for the division
  • Setup, manage, and optimize webinars and product showcases
  • Handle project management for relevant events (virtual and in-person)
  • Collaborate with the sales team on organizing relevant sales follow-up for webinars and events
  • Identify and engage new potential partners and events to reach our target audience and drive pipeline
  • Provide suggestions for improving our processes and results for webinars and events
